Visited The Lip Bar to have a 1-1 makeup tutorial with Liz. First, it is a super busy place. I don't know if this is normal or because it was a Saturday. Second, due to the quality of the product and the huge popularity, they were out of several items I wanted. I had to be waitlisted. The service and customer service was amazing! Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. If you get a 1-1, you also get a 10% discount on products you purchase. Plenty of parking is available a few blocks away in The Z parking lot. It's located on Grand River & Griswold. The Lip Bar will validate up to 3 hours which was plenty of time for my service, shopping, and questions. Highly recommend for the makeup lover!

I am sharing about my first experience purchasing from The Lip Bar Detroit location. I fell in love with the lip combos and looks shared by Brittney Newton on IG. When I asked her for more information she was very friendly, and incredible helpful. She was also patient because I asked a zillion questions and she never made me feel silly for asking! She was honest about her love for the brand and she was able to help me narrow down my first order. When my order arrived I was blown away by the pigments and colour pay off of the lip products, just WOW!! I will definitely be purchasing again, and if I lived closer to Detroit I would be a customer at your store. All thanks to Brittney’s passion, expertise, and genuine kindness when it comes to wanting to see women thrive 🩷

I loved my experience at the iconic Lip Bar in downtown Detroit. The store was bright, clean, and welcoming. What truly stood out, however, was the professionalism of the staff. There was an obvious commitment to excellence throughout the store, paired with a warm, family-like atmosphere. Striking that balance is no easy feat, yet the team made it seem effortless. Their dedication to both exceptional service and genuine connection made the experience memorable from start to finish. I’m looking forward to returning with my friends.

My mom and I walked in to get new lip oil, and we walk out with multiple liner combos and blush. Rosie was absolutely amazing. She helped us try out some new combos, introduce bronzer, and had amazing picks. Will definitely be back and request help from Rosie!

I loved every minute of my makeup class! Summer was friendly, knowledgeable and lots of fun! She gave me some great tips on how to apply my makeup! Even though I have many of the products, I purchased a few new items. I left the store feeling and looking beautiful! ♥️
