I had such a great experience at Groom Guy. From the moment I walked in, Sherree and Darius made me feel welcomed and completely taken care of. They are both incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely care about helping you look and feel your best. Not only did they do an excellent job with my haircut and styling, but they also took the time to answer all my questions—even beyond just the basics. I asked about shaving techniques and how to reduce ingrown hairs, and they were extremely helpful. They didn’t just give quick answers—they explained things clearly, recommended practical tools, and even provided resources I could use at home. I really appreciated how patient and attentive they were. They made sure I understood how to properly care for my hair and skin, which made a big difference. On top of that, they set me up with a shaving gel that I’m already loving! It’s rare to find a place that combines skill, professionalism, and genuine care like this. Sherree and Darius go above and beyond—this is truly a great establishment, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! 💯

Sherree provided me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received. She took the time to listen to my thoughts, providing her opinions, which were 100% correct. I have bone straight hair and Sherree worked wonders to provide a manageable style that I am able to maintain. Sherree is simply outstanding!

Saw Darius, and he gave me the best haircut and beard trim I’ve had in DC since I came here in 2017. He listened to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and made helpful suggestions. He took care in his work and was attentive to detail. While expensive, the cost was in line with typical prices for high-end barbering services in DC to trim long hair and a beard, and lower than many barbers that have left me unsatisfied. Will definitely be coming back and recommending him to friends.
