The staff is friendly enough. You really wouldn't come to this store unless you were coming for something specific either for a dish from your Motherland that you are trying to make or an online recipe you are trying to follow. This store is quite pricey. But what what they sell here is EXACTLY what you need. So, just pay and go about your day. LOL. I am obsessed with African yams. They are mad expensive, but I know that I'll get get good yam with eggs for breakfast, or wounded yam future for dinner. I hate that there aren't so many African/carribean/wrst indian spots in the bay area, but super great full that Man Must Wak continues to exist. Do, go patronize them, y'all!

I know nothing about West African/Caribbean cooking but I stepped into this convenience store because I’m an avid home cook and wanted to see if anything caught my eye. This is a small (tiny) but well stocked store that deserves a visit if you’re into this type of cuisine. I didn’t recognize a lot of what this store offers, but I’m glad this exists for the community.

Excellent food ready to eat — the jollof rice had such amazing, deep rich flavor. I’d recommend a stop!

It is so great to have this place to provide us with groceries from our homeland. They have everything that is needed to cook a home cooked meal from Africa and beyond. The customer service is supreme and the cooked dishes are very delicious.
