So…. Me and my homegirl went here the other day. And let me tell you!!!!! The food was fire. We started off with drinks, we both got the strawberry and rhubarb drink which was around $20. It hit the spot, was sweet enough yet strong. Then for starters we had a butter salad, it was different but ok for me. I did eat it all though 😅. Their menu is a bit too pricey but some of the items are worth it. Then we went with scallops corn pudding dishe. Which was nice, but very pricey $36. I never tasted okra with those flavors which was a pleasant surprise. Next we ordered what our server stated are crowd favorites. Suya half chicken and the lamb dish and the sweet potato. Babey!! That sweet potato 🍠 was the clear winner. Dare I say the best sweet potato dish I’ve ever tasted!!’ We ate the sweet potato with the lamb and tbh we could have gotten two of each and that would have been perfect. Also the lamb dish had couscous which is something I never eat ever. However!! The way they made it made me shut up and eat! The lamb chunk was tender and flavorful. The Suya chicken tasted liked seasoned chicken and it wasn’t bad but nothing I would recommend. Then we got the banana split, I really didn’t care for it too much since the dark cherries took over the whole flavor profile. I was hoping for more of a banana flambé. Hopefully this menu sticks around longer so I can visit it again. You can tell the chef is passionate about the menu. Ohh the places was super cute, parking wasn’t there! I think they had valet but I didn’t use it. My picture has the banana split dessert, lamb dish and Suya half chicken.
