Walk in, Tony treats you like family. Genuinely old school treat you right customer service skills. No seating at this location, but you’re not going to need it, the food is that good. Ordered the turkey burger sliders and they are worth fighting over. Taking “home” one of the Mac N Cheese dishes for later. Both made to order right in front of you if you hang. Definitely returning.

Food: If you're looking for some good soul food while in DC. This is your place. The food was absolutely delicious—very flavorful and made with love. Everything I tried was well-seasoned and satisfying. Service: Being a first-timer the cashier & cooks were very helpful on what we should try. Atmosphere: They only offer take out. It's a small space. No seating The wait was only 10 minutes. I will definitely return when in the area again!

Great service and the food was bussin! Well seasoned fried chicken and the meatloaf with rice was great and worked so well together. Not to mention, the sides are great and I think they put their foot in the strawberry lemonade 😂 but seriously so good. I will be back for my soul food cravings

I ordered wings, mac and cheese, fries, and a side of peach cobbler. They also gave me cornbread. The wings weren’t bad but the fries were unseasoned and tasted like cardboard. The cornbread was even drier than a popeyes biscuit I almost choked. The mac and cheese was literally a block and the peach cobbler looked like wet cat food. The photo shown was the “ peach cobbler”. This whole meal came out to $40 and was probably the worst decision of my life eating here. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone, not even to my worst enemy!

What happened to the outstanding food that this establishment has been known for? Just ordered take out for two persons, and we were both disappointed with the green beans, corn bread, and the sweet potatoes. The service was commendable, however. These items were bland and lacked the homemade flavor that cement Oooh's & Aahh's as a culinary staple over the years. Immensely disappointed with the food quality and will not return. I will go to Henry's up the street, which never disappoints.
