Outstanding! Now that I think 🤔 about it the ancestors had to be in that kitchen, because BaeBe... I walked in and was welcomed. The establishment was clean and tidy, very cultured. Gives Big Mommas kitchen feel. I ordered the Oxtail with rice (fire) and 2 sides. I chose the yams and Mac n cheese... Get the Mac its Macing I promise. The oxtail didn't come with gravy but nevertheless was absolutely delicious. The size of the oxtail made me smile 785 didnt come to play! The price was very reasonable.Im so very thankful to have 785 kitchen because it had me feeling like home. I can't wait to go back. See you soon.

I came here because of a coupon and a recommendation, and I really enjoyed the food. Ordered smothered chicken on rice (Saturday special) with cornbread and greens as a side dish. Service is prompt and polite. Food is rich and delectable, perhaps a little salty, but not too spicy; portions are generous. Great option for takeout or dining in!

The staff was very friendly and kind. The food was amazing. I had dirty rice and chicken fried chicken. The gravy was a rich flavor with the chicken fried chicken being juicy. The dirty rice recipe was spot on. Both exceptionally delicious. I will be back.

The food is incredibly good, the people working were super nice and friendly and the service was fast and fresh. This place has become our go-to and taste better than I could make homemade. I got chicken fried chicken with Mac & mashed potato, and my husband got the catfish, red beans and rice and Mac. 10/10 recommend

Our New discovery in Topeka…875 Kitchen located at 2028 West Gage! Sunday Special is Turkey legs with 2 sides, but try their chicken fried chicken, grilled shrimp, collards, cabbage, fried okra, green beans plus more! Owner is the cook too! Only has room for 28 but is clean, homemade tasty and friendly!
