All around 5-star experience from the food to the vibes to the customer service. The atmosphere was very inviting and chill — not too loud, not too crowded, just the perfect balance to relax and enjoy yourself. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was on point from start to finish. The food came out fresh, flavorful, and exceeded expectations. You can tell they care about giving customers a great experience, not just serving food. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for good energy, great service, and amazing food.

The SOULWAVE Team stopped by Black Coffee for a logistics meeting. WOW, what an experience. First, the energy of this place is a whole SOUL vibe. Rich in culture and presence. You can feel it the moment you walk in. Second, Asia, our barista, delivered some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Truly a VIBE—warm, nurturing, and intentional. And third… the coffee and pastry? Absolutely incredible. That smooth, rich coffee paired with the apple caramel cinnamon roll PERFECTION. My soul felt nourished with every sip and bite. I even left with an affirmation written on my coffee cup… which is now a plant holder for my plant named “Black Coffee.” 🌱. 5 STARS. Highly recommend. #SOULWAVEApproved

I love supporting local when traveling. Black Coffee is owned and run by Black people and that was the customer base. I am not Black, but felt very welcome. I asked for a recommendation for a drink and was given a couple options. I picked Light Skinned Keisha based on the recommendation and she stated that if I didn't like it, she would make me something else. The walls are covered with art and photos. There were stone engravings that I'm sure had history. I sat on the comfy chair as I waited for my drink. They also had complimentary lemon water as you waited, or if you ordered food and no coffee. My drink was brought to me. I drank some as I checked my phone for my next destination. I was asked if I liked it, I did, and enjoyed some of the vibe. The speakers played music fitting to the establishment and there was some language in the music not intended for little ears, FYI. It doesnt bother me, but it might others. When I left, my name was used in the goodbye. I felt that was a nice touch. The drinks are a little pricey, but again, supporting local. I'll be back again to try something else.

This happened to be next to a restaurant I was going to. Decided to pop in a grab a coffee while I waited on my reservation. I was greeted immediately. Everyone was very welcoming. Decided on getting an iced "Brown Skin Girl". It was delicious! There was even live music. My first visit was definitely a great experience. I live out of town but I'll make it a point to visit whenever I'm in Atlanta!! You won't be disappointed!

Before heading to church, I decided to explore some local coffee shops and stumbled upon Black Coffee. I was instantly drawn in by its earthy atmosphere, which provided a perfect blend of comfort and inspiration; ideal for working on my laptop or simply unwinding. One feature that particularly caught my eye was a beautifully curated wall celebrating black history, which added a depth to the space. The friendly staff at the counter greeted us warmly and inquired about our morning, instantly making us feel appreciated. As for the menu, it boasted some intriguing options, including a latte infused with cinnamon and a rich brown sugar syrup—a delightful twist that piqued my interest. While the prices leaned towards the higher end, the exceptional quality of both the coffee and the service made every cent worthwhile. I left feeling satisfied and inspired, and I will definitely be returning for another visit!
